I work with a select number of clients throughout the Washington, DC, area who want to work to resolve probate and estate matters. I fully explain the different strategies available to effectively plan for the orderly distribution of your estate. Once we have decided on the specific approach that best meets your needs, I will prepare and help you execute all the documents necessary to implement your estate plan, including

• Wills
• Living wills (also known as health or medical care directives)
• Powers of attorney

If you have a family member who lacks the capacity to manage his or her affairs, I can advise you on the benefits of guardianships and conservatorships and prepare the required documents to implement these arrangements.

If you have been named as executor or administrator of the estate of a loved one, I will help you navigate the probate process and successfully settle the estate. If you are involved in a will contest, I can help you find creative solutions that avoid the time and expense of protracted litigation.

Over my years of practice, I have built strong relationships throughout the local legal community. Because of my reputation for providing sound legal counsel that focuses on client needs, most of my clients come to me as referrals from other attorneys or from former clients. In addition, if clients come to me with legal issues that are outside of my area of practice, I have a network of attorneys to whom I can refer them.
